Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott
(born June 16 1987) is an American comedian and actress who was a member of
Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012 and has since starred on the Bravo
comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of actor
and comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the second of two children and was born
in New York City. She is the child of Paula Niedert, a talent manager as well
as Chris Elliott (actor/comedian). Her father was Bob Elliott, a radio comedian.
She is younger sister to actress Bridey Elliott. They were both born in Wilton,
Connecticut. She was a student in Immaculate High School in Danbury,
Connecticut, where she participated in school plays and musicals. After having
graduated from Immaculate High School in 2005 she enrolled at Marymount
Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out in her first semester
.In 2010, Elliott was a friend of the fellow Saturday Night Live cast member
Fred Armisen. The pair broke up in September 2011. On September 3 of 2016,
Elliott was married on September 3, 2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer.
They have a daughter named Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott was a student at The
Groundlings, and then began performing and training in several sketch comedy shows
at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
